‎قال عمر بن الخطاب - رضي الله عنه
:

تَعَلَّمُوا العَرَبِية فإِنَّهَا مِنْ دِينِكم

"Learn Arabic, for it is from your Deen"

-Translation of the interpretation of the meaning

(كما قال)

Do you know one of the reasons why a lot of people don’t have a high level of beneficial Ilm?

• A lot of people put almost no effort or time in learning the Arabic language.

Some might think it doesn’t matter but at some point
they will have deep regret for ignoring the Arabic language.

Learning Arabic is good for us.
الحَمدُ لله

Anyone who has experienced reading the Qur’aan and understands many Aayaat without using “Translation of the interpretation of the meaning” knows the importance of the Arabic language.

Anyone who understands some of the speech of Rasul
صلى الله عليه وسلم
without having to refer to “Translation of the interpretation of the meaning“ knows how important Arabic is.

Even if a person doesn’t understand Arabic, just the fact that the individual is unable to understand what they are reading in Arabic, should be enough to lead them to learn Al-lughatal-Arabiyyah,
إن شاء الله

The niyyah of seeking beneficial Ilm should be for the sake of Allah alone.
سبحان الله.

We need beneficial Ilm to do good deeds,
إن شاء الله

We can at least try to spend 20 minutes every day learning Arabic, that way in a month around 9 hours and in a year around 111 hours roughly,
إن شاء الله
