Suji ka Halwa Recipe
1 cup semolina (Suji)
1 Cup sugar and 3 more tablespoons of sugar
(Quantity of Sugar slightly more than Semolina)
One bottle of water
1 cup sugar, one cup and a little bit more
Elaichi
Laung
Ghee
Garnish
Cashew nuts
Pistachios
Almonds
Raisins
Take a pot and boil water with sugar on a small burner, until sugar dissolves and syrup becomes a little thick, in shaa’ ALLAH
As the syrup is boiling, take a wok and fry 1 tablespoon of ghee, with few cardamoms and laung(cloves).
Next pour in 1 cup of semolina into the wok
Fry the semolina until golden brown,
إن شآء الله
Add a tablespoon of kewda water to the sugar syrup and stir well for mixing, in shaa’ ALLAH .
Remove the wok from the heat to avoid splashes when pouring hot sugar syrup, in shaa’ ALLAH .
Slowly pour the sugar syrup which should be of a slightly thick consistency into the wok containing the roasted semolina and stir continuously as you pour to avoid lumps ,
إن شآء الله
Stir the halwa for around 2-3minutes as it begins to get the halwa consistency, in shaa’ ALLAH .
You can serve the halwa in a beautiful platter,

For garnishing :
In a separate pan, you can heat a little ghee, and fry some almonds, cashews, pistachios and raisins until golden brown.
Sliver the almonds and cashews and pistachios.
Sprinkle these fried nuts and raisins to the suji halwa that you took out in the plate,
